Preparing for the Future of Medicine: Electronic Health Records

What's Meaningful Use? What should I look for in an EHR? Do I qualify for incentive payments?

Join us for a free session on how electronic health records (EHRs) will transform your practice. We will discuss how EHR adoption can help your practice participate in incentive programs like Meaningful Use and prepare for the future of medicine. You will also have the opportunity to meet with EHR vendors selected by NYC REACH to learn about their systems.

Providers and office staff (non-consulting) are advised to attend.

Agenda:

5:30 PM - Registration
6:00 PM - Introduction to EHR adoption and incentives for quality
6:30 PM - How to select an EHR that best fits your practice
7:00 PM - Questions & Answers; Meet representatives from NYC REACH partner EHR vendors to ask questions and compare systems

Food and refreshments will be provided.

Can't attend this one? Join us in June at the Bronx. Click here for more information.

Primary Care Information Project & NYC REACH

The NYC Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health (REACH) is a collaboration between the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Fund for Public Health in New York to help make sure doctors in New York City don't get left behind. Our mission is to assist them in adopting technology and methods that measurably improve the health of New Yorkers. Some providers may also be eligible for incentives for EHR use from federal, state, or private programs. Our job is to help offset the transition cost and burden as much as possible through training, education, and links to funding sources.
